As a credit union, or financial cooperative, there are several key elements that distinguish us from other financial institutions. The first difference is what we are not — we are not for profit, not for stockholders and not for charity.

Our core purpose is to assist our members in gaining economic independence, regardless of their income level.
Only members of the credit union can use our services.
Each member is an owner, not a "customer" or "client."
We are governed by a Volunteer Board of Directors elected by the membership.
Profits are returned directly to our members in the form of higher dividends on savings, lower loan rates, and reduced fees for services.
