Saving Accounts
A savings account establishes your People’s Trust membership. The minimum balance required to open and maintain your membership is only $5. There is no monthly service charge. Convenient access to these funds is available using ATMs, MARTi Telephone Account Access and HomeBranch™ online banking. Earnings on your Savings Account are paid to you in the form of dividends which are compounded and paid monthly.
To help your savings grow, we offer two different saving accounts:
Access Savings
Designed for members who need access to their funds with no restrictions on the number of transactions per month.
Super Savings
Pays a higher dividend rate and is designed for members who do not access their funds on a regular basis. With Super Savings, you can make up to six (6) preauthorized, automatic or telephone transfers per month (not more than three (3) of these may be made by check, draft or debit card).
