Our mission is to advance financial literacy and economic independence among Houstonians.

The Foundation funds financial education workshops and seminars across Houston to educate individuals on basic money management skills. Volunteers from the foundation and credit union employees teach the financial literacy program regularly for organizations across Houston.

The Foundation also makes down payment assistance grants to deserving families to help them purchase their first house. This helps modest income families, who could not otherwise afford to make a down payment on a house, buy a house and grow equity rather than continuously renting.
