All of our systems have remained intact during and after the hurricane.Our direct deposits, ACH, checks, and other electronic items have posted as normal.Our staff has also been readily available to open our call centers and branches to serve our members quickly.
We understand that many of you had damage to your cars or homes and are in the process of filing your insurance claims. In the meantime, People's Trust has prepared the following special programs to assist you during these tough times.*
Hurricane Ike emergency loan:
You qualify for the Hurricane Ike Loan if:
-you have been a member of people's trust for at least 3 full years and
-you have a checking account or current loan with people's trust, and
-you have not created a loss to People's Trust in the past
If you meet the criteria above, you may qualify for a loan up to $5,000 to assist you with your emergency financial needs. The loan will automatically be deposited to your membership savings or checking account. Click here to apply.
New or used car purchase
If your vehicle was damaged as a result of the hurricane, simply call one of our member consultants who will put you in touch with one of our preferred dealers. Your experience will be painless, our process is easy and our dealer contacts will treat you with respect and offer you great pricing. You don't have to second guess the pricing of your new vehicle.
Home Improvement and Damage Repair
If your home has been damaged, our member consultants can help you through the decision process as you determine which type of loan will be best suited for you.
