Beginning February 1, 2011, People’s Trust makes electronic delivery the preferred method of distribution for MONTHLY ACCOUNT STATEMENTS
Members who wish to continue to receive monthly statements by mail may do so for a small monthly fee of $2.50 that is automatically being charged on all membership accounts beginning February 2011. To avoid the fee, simply enroll in e-Statements by January 31, 2010 by following these steps:
- Log in to HomeBranch™ at www.peoplestrustfcu.org
- Click on the “Account Access” Tab
- Click the “Online Statements” link
- Click to read and accept the Disclosure Agreement to get started
OR, if you are not enrolled in HomeBranch, call our Virtual Branch at 713.428.3200 or 800.321.2411 to enroll!
Members born in 1950 or before will be automatically exempt from this fee.
Remember, to avoid the first month’s fee, you must be enrolled in e-Statements by January 31, 2010.
Changes to Loan Coupons will also take place beginning January 1, 2011
To continue our paperless goals, and challenge our members to reduce paper waste, we will also discourage the printing of loan coupons by charging a Loan Coupon Fee* that will take effect for all new loans funded after January 1, 2011. Loan coupon booklets will continue to be available for a one-time fee of $25.00 that can be paid or added to any loan at funding. To avoid the fee, lost coupons or the hassle of extra paper, you can easily track and manage your loan payments, without a Coupon Booklet, through Home Branch:
- Simply log in to Home Branch at www.peoplestrustfcu.org
- Scroll down to the “Loan Accounts” Section towards the bottom of the screen and you’ll have access to:
- Your Loan Number
- Loan Type
- Current Balance
- Available Balance
- Rate
- Scheduled Payment
- Due Date
- Recent Transactions
