Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greeting and acknowledging all members in friendly and professional manner.
- Referring members to the sales team by using appropriate soft-transfer skills maintaining a seamless transition when members are opening accounts and/or applying for loans.
- Keep abreast of all credit union promotions.
- Receiving share deposits, payments, receipts, processing stop payments, account status, advances on Ready Cash loans, system changes, etc.
- Answering all inquiries in a timely, courteous and efficient manner either in person or by phone.
- Answering all inquiries which include: balance inquiries, wire transfers, confirmation of deposits, rate inquiries, verification of checks and research requests. (Contact Center Region)
- Responding to members’ requests, problems and complaints.
- Building new and servicing existing relationships with members.
- Assessing the needs of the members, establishing referral objectives and plans for achieving service goals and working to develop and continuously improve service skills.
- Assisting members with credit union technology services and products.
- Participate in training to improve knowledge of products and operating procedures.
- Assist with the maintenance of region facilities and supplies.
- Adhering to Office Image Standards where required.
- Serving in any staff capacity when required.
- Performing other duties as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bilingual preferred. At least 3 years call center experience or 2 years financial institution experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To assist the members with all financial services and to assist in providing efficient operations accordingly by:
- Performing routine member transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers and check cashing.
- Receiving share deposits, loan and credit card payments, and enter into in-house computer system.
- Receiving payments for installment and share secured loans, ensuring that payments equal the amount due and that all late charges, if applicable, are collected.
- Examining checks for endorsements and negotiability.
- Providing members with proper receipts for payments/deposits.
- Responding to members’ requests, problems and complaints.
- Processing stop payments on share draft accounts.
- Providing members with account status, including current balances and loan pay-offs.
- Assessing the needs of the members, establishing sales objectives and plans for achieving goals and working to develop and continuously improve sales skills.
- Selling credit union products and services through contact with existing and new members in a proactive sales environment.
- Referring existing and new members to a colleague or service partner who has specific expertise.
- Keeping abreast of all credit union promotions.
- Participating with staff in training to improve knowledge of products and operating procedures.
- Performing other duties as needed.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1 - 2 years experience in a Sales and Service Environment. Previous cash handling experience preferred. Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
